Shake off the dust.

Follow these steps to refresh your office:

  1. Check your major appliances for leaks, cracks, or clogs. (water heater, washer/dryer, HVAC, etc.)
  2. Check plumbing and water fixtures for leaks, cracks, or clogs. (toilets, sinks, etc.)
  3. Re-apply interior caulking.
  4. Sweep and/or vacuum all rooms.
  5. Replace dirty furnace filters.
  6. Test fire and CO2 alarms—replace batteries, as needed.
  7. Inspect fire extinguishers.

Spruce up your storefront.

Make your exterior sparkle with these basics:

  1. Clear the gutters.
  2. Check the roof for damage.
  3. Wash your windows (inside and out).
  4. Re-apply exterior caulking or weather stripping.
